JAKARTA – The nine best digital startups (startups) have been selected as winners at the Lintasarta Appcelerate 2019 event. Appcelerate is organized by Lintasarta by cooperating with three state universities, namely the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS).
“Lintasarta along with LPIK ITB, GIB UGM, dan BPPU ITS spawned nine startups from different categories. They are all good, all the best. Later, we will help the products from Appcelerate market to Lintasarta customers,” said President Director of Lintasarta, Arya Damar , Wednesday (07/10/2019) at Co-Working Space Kedasi, Jakarta.
Arya added, “Lintasarta will also continue to provide support to Appcelerate startups starting from infrastructure and mentoring. We hope that through the Appcelerate program, selected startups can contribute to the digital ecosystem progress with the innovations provided and together develop Indonesia to develop in a better direction “.
The nine startups are Mechlab (EKYC), SIAB (IoT Water Treatment and Management), Nusantera (IoT Smart Energy), Lokapoin (Smart Tourism Local Experience), InvesProperty (Fintech), Mounev (Learning Management System), Debt Inspection (Information System and Debtor Character Analysis Data), Guardio (Building and Residence Security Apps) and CodeDirect (Trafict Management System). The nine startups above were selected startups after participating in the incubation and acceleration period for 6 months.
The nine startups got the best rating from the jury defeating other candidates and also judged to meet the problem solving, usefulness, commercial value and business value categories. The juries are the board of directors, general manager of the crossroad, industry experts from finance, government, and the heads of business incubators from 3 universities. After the presentation in front of the invited guests, in the Awarding Appcelerate event which took place at the Kedasi Auditorium, Jakarta the best teams from each university were announced, namely Lokapoin (ITB), Sidak Debtors (ITS), and Mechlab (UGM). The three startups each receive business development support and collaboration with Lintasarta to enter the B2B market. Lintasarta Appcelerate is a place for making business plans in the form of product innovations or digital applications, such as mobile applications, which have business value and can be applied to support various financial industry sectors, smart city, manufacture, and e-health. Lintasarta Appcelerate has been started since 2016 and the plan will continue to be developed in collaboration with universities and other provincial governments in Indonesia.
